One of the [tag]high school football coaching staff[/tag], Corey, sent in this [tag]offensive[/tag] line [tag]drill[/tag]. Here’s a simple [tag]football[/tag] drill that will pay huge dividends with your team.

“Fight for the Red”
This drill requires 6 players to be involved. There should be 3 offensive players and 3 defensive players.
The drill will take place on the 10 yard line with 1st and goal for the offensive team. Four cones should mark the playing area. The 1st 2 cones should be place on the 10 yard line outside the hash marks on both side, and the other 2 places on the goal line outside the hash marks.
The drill starts by a [tag]coach[/tag] standing in the back of the end zone signaling the direction for the [tag]offense[/tag] to run. A whistle will start the play. The offensive will only have 4 down to get in the ZONE. This drill can be done with all players, but be sure to match players appropriately for drill effectiveness.
Purpose: to help offensive lineman get repetitions on [tag]blocking[/tag] angle, [tag]running backs[/tag] use to powering their way upfield, defensive lineman use to getting a push up field toward the ball carrier, and [tag]linebackers[/tag] and d-backs use to anticipating good angels to the ball and finishing the play with a formed tackle.
Incentive: whichever group comes up successful earns a special red zone sticker decal. Tranfer also is applied to actual games, so the entire offense or [tag]defense[/tag] can also earn a sticker in the live competition.
