[tag]Kick off Coverage Drill[/tag]
Four Lines—Two on either side of the kicker and a couple of return guys taking turns returning the kicks.
There are two cones on the 20 yard line on the hashes. When the [tag]football[/tag] is kicked four players go sprinting down field. The return guy gets the ball and runs back and forth between the cones. The four coverage guys break down five yards away from the returner.
The four coverage players work on keeping the Returner on their inside eye. After a few seconds a [tag]football coach[/tag] blows the whistle and the returner tries to get past the coverage players and the coverage players squeeze and tackle.
Can also work for punt coverage as well using only 2 coverage players.
