One of my readers, Jonathan, actually suggested this idea for [tag]conditioning for football workouts[/tag]. It’s excellent for [tag]conditioning[/tag] so I’ve included it for you below.
From Jonathan”¦
I coach a spring [tag]football[/tag] [tag]team[/tag] so when the fall ball season is over that is when we begin our madness. Here is our football [tag]drill[/tag].
“Instead of running [tag]wind sprints[/tag] during any part of practice we have team A-D. We mark it out 50 yards and A races B C races D.
The winner of both teams then races each other; the losers race each other twice giving them a chance to get in the winners bracket.
They [tag]race[/tag] the first winners.
You can do many things with that till its endless.
We found that the kids look forward to team racing rather than individual [tag]running[/tag].
Also we assign the teams to keep it fair.
