From Dan…
A [tag]football drill[/tag] our team loved to do was called “chase the rabbit” and it goes a little something like this.
- You put 4 cones in a square about 15-20 yards apart.
- Divide the team into 2 teams with equal speed on each team.
- Start with the teams on opposite side of the cones.
- The first person for each team starts by carrying the [tag]football[/tag] around the cones and hands the football off to the other.
It is basically a relay race around the cones until one team catches the other. If one team catches the other quickly then we usually make it a best of three race. It is a great [tag]football conditioning drill[/tag] and the kids have fun at the same time.
