How to run this drill
Creative Football Offenses is built for youth, high-school, and volunteer coaches who need clear drill language — not a random cone circuit. Beginners can install the first progression; experienced staffs can layer competition.
- Read the purpose once, then walk the setup on air before live tempo.
- Demonstrate one clean rep so players see landmarks, pad level, and finish.
- Run short competitive periods — quality reps beat long lines.
- Close with one coaching cue players can repeat in the huddle next period.

From Mark”¦
I have been [tag]coaching[/tag] [tag]football[/tag] or playing for about 30 years and I have been a around the block (we are a very small community).
I have moved from player to Varsity to Jr.High but my love has been the [tag]Offensive Line[/tag].
The hardest thing I had other than staying low (WHICH IS THE HARDEST THING I HAVE) is getting off on the [tag]count[/tag]!! The thing I found out that works the best is changing the count up and using colors (for instance THE SECOND HUT, AFTER THE SECOND COLOR).
It may sound funny but if they have to think it makes a difference!! JUST TRY IT IN PRACTICE.
From Romie”¦
What I like to do is set up cones and have the players run in and out of the cones but at each cone [tag]spin[/tag] so that they learn to run in and out of tackles and keep their feet under them with a spin.
