Start with the badge (1-for-4, 2-for-1). Price the package, not one name vs one name — same scale as the FantasyHQ values board.

Match your league

Check 1 QB vs Superflex on every card. SF comps inflate QBs — copying them into 1QB will make deals look “unfair.”

Rebuild the offer

Search your target, pull 3–5 comps, then rebuild the same shape with players you actually roster.

Buying a star

Pay with depth: 2–4 startable pieces or a stud + pick. If the comps show 1-for-3 and you offer 1-for-1, you are underpaying.

  • Open 3 comps for the star first
  • Mirror the asset count on the big package side
  • Keep one “sweetener” pick if you are pushing a win-now deal

Selling a star

Ask for roster construction help, not a lateral peer. Contenders want weekly points; rebuilders want youth + picks.

  • Contending buyer → demand two starters
  • Rebuilding buyer → demand young upside + a 1st
  • Walk if they only offer one name of similar ADP

Picks in the deal

Orange Pick tags are future capital. Early 1sts often price near starter value in dynasty; later picks are glue.

  • Rebuilding? Prefer picks over aging RB volume
  • Contending? Prefer players over mid/late picks
  • Never value a 3rd like a WR2 unless comps show it

How to evaluate a trade

  1. Format — toggle Redraft or Dynasty to match your league.
  2. Settings — set 1 QB / Superflex, team count, and PPR scoring.
  3. Find players — search the Value table or open Player Lookup.
  4. Balance sides — compare total Value; aim within ~5% on even deals.
  5. Roster need — a WR2 can beat a higher-Value RB3 if you are thin at receiver.
