2 Step High Knee – Football Agility Drill

In this agility drill, we are using na Agility Ladder. This is a great piece of equipment to have in your training arsenal. If you don’t have an agility ladder, or perhaps you are a coach on a budget. You can make your own agility ladder.

The agility ladder is the best piece of equipment to use for these drills because the agility ladder will actually show mistakes. It will show any kind of excess movement, any type of movement that we do not want to teach the athlete.

The 2 step means that there are 2 feet in each box, and allows the athlete to raise the high knee into a controlled area of the box all the way through the ladder.

With this exercises, a lot of technique and form is used. The better your technique, the better your form, the better your athletes performance.
