Full drill
During the above video, you’ll learn about some of the best conditioning drills your football players can do.
First, you’ll focus on a strength training exercise. Your athlete will come up from the bended position and then lift, on their toes, allowing the bar to come up and explode to the upper part of the chest. At this point, the athlete wants to rotate their hands underneath and get their body in a good position.
Next, we’ll look at the agility ladder, which can be used for agility and speed training. If you’re on a budget and don’t have an agility ladder, set up a series of 2′ x 1 ½” squares (with tape, for example) for your players to use for these types of agility conditioning drills.
These are just a couple of examples of conditioning drills to help your players work on agility, speed, and power.

Coaching tips
For bag / agility work, prioritize high knees, eyes up, and ball security through traffic.
Keep one cue per rep so kids hear the same language every time.
Film the first live set; pause on footwork and finish, not just the ball.
Pair this drill with a matching play install so practice transfers to game day.
